| Welcome to Kopykatz Miniatures
"Mares" Page
Here at Kopykatz Miniatures we feel that the disposition of our foals is as important as their conformation. We believe anyone especially children should be able to walk into any of our pastures, whether we have mares with foals, or our stallion in that pasture. And just as conformation is passed from parents to foal so is disposition. That is why we are proud of the friendly and gentle dispositions of our mares and stallions (and their foals), because they aren't just breeding stock, they are children's (and adult's) friends, playmates and memories of childhood. And in the spring when the foals are born and grandparents bring their grandchildren to our acreage to pet the babies (and talk about the 'good ole days') wouldn't it be a disappointment if they weren't allowed to roam freely among the horses?
Years ago, before our miniatures, we owned and loved Appaloosas, and now after all this time we are combining our two loves with Carp, Latte, Xtreme, Pat and our stallion Warrior. Destiny is our only non-appaloosa horse, but we love everything about her so have retained her for our breeding program.

Her sire, Brewers Orion Royale, is a full brother to two AMHA National Grand & one National Reserve Champion junior stallions, and is a son of the great pintaloosa stallion, Orion Light Vant Huttenest. Carp is a beautiful fine boned, full bodied mare, with a gorgeous head and straight legs, with a gentle disposition. To date she has consistantly produced wonderful show quality babies. Carp is due to foal the first part of May 2008. I am thrilled and honored to have this mare in my broodmare herd. Thank you Jim & Velda Long for entrusting her care and well-being to me.

Thank you Cindy and Roger Leeper for allowing me to add Creme Latte, Twizzler's Xtreme, & Patent Pending to my appy line! I look forward to their future babies!
 Triple Ks Sheeza BTU Stripper
aka Stripper
2007 AMHA/AMHR bay filly by Boones Double Buckeroo Show Boy and Chelse Vanilla Fudge (Dell Tera breeding). Stripper's sire is a beautiful buckskin son of 1996 AMHA National Champion and 2005 National Grand Champ Get of Sire "Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too"(BTU). ShowBoy is also a full brother to "Boones Little Triple K" dam of the 2006 AMHA Res World Champ 2 yr old stallion "Legends Boogies Rocky Top".
Stripper has a slender "hooky" neck, huge eyes, long elegant legs, a slender body with a long full hip. She a presence to her that is seen in many Buckeroo horses and I'm hoping for that "special something" in her future babies. If she gives me some appy colored "Buckeroo" babies, it would be icing on the cake!
Thank you Tami & Mike Melby of Triple K Miniatures for allowing me to purchase Stripper and to use your pictures!

Kopykatz Designer Kianna
aka Kia
Born May 18,2006. AMHA/AMHR silver dapple appaloosa filly by Warrior By Design CR 29.5" and Triple Ks Northern Destiny 31.5" (gold melody boy background). This is a beautiful little filly with an excellent pedigree and out of a mare that has always foaled unassisted. Her full sister (pictured below) looked just like her and when we clipped her this spring had white and black appy spots on the top of her rump. I won't be surprised to find that this filly will also show spots when clipped! Colored or not this is a spectacular filly so we have decided to keep her! She has a to-die-for head, tiny muzzle, dished profile, huge eye, broad forehead, and tiny tipped ears – did I say Arabian head?!! Perfectly proportioned body, slender long straight legs, gorgeous head, WOW! The more I see her the more I love her! Her only fault?- her neck is a little heavy (why can't we have it all!?).
Please remember we brought our horses in from the pasture, curried them and took pictures, and I don't seem to be very good at taking pictures either!
